Laksana jodoh, garis hidup yang sudah dituliskan Tuhan, Indah bertemu kembali dengan Pandu, mereka satu sekolah. Namun, kenyataan pahit harus diterima Pandu karena tahu Indah sudah memiliki pacar. Rupanya Ramon (Miradz) adalah jodoh pilihan mamanya (Wulan Guritno).

Hingga kemudian, sebuah kecelakaan merenggut sebagian hidup Indah. Penglihatan dan pita suara Indah rusak. Indah jadi gadis pemarah yang tidak bisa mengontrol emosi. Berdiam diri di kamar dan tidak mau menerima kenyataan membuatnya semakin terpuruk. Saat itulah, kakak Indah (Arumi Bachsin) kembali. Kakaknya memilih meninggalkan rumah karena menolak jadi boneka mamanya. Indah ibarat boneka rusak, menolak ditemani orangtuanya, apalagi pacar pilihan orang tuanya. Dia memilih tinggal di villa sendiri.

Mendapat informasi dari pembantu, Pandu melepaskan sekolahnya di Jakarta untuk kembali ke desa, menyusul Indah. Pandu tak pernah membiarkan Indah sendiri, seberapa keras pun Indah menolaknya. Bersama-sama, Pandu dan sahabat Indah (Indah Permatasari) mencoba mengembalikan senyum Indah.
